Community Development Ventures

Tanzania ecoVolunteerism (TeV) works with communities to develop sustainable solutions to address the causes and effects of poverty, injustice, exclusion and inequality.
This depends upon the active participation of local leaders, community organisations, and community members for communities to achieve self-sufficiency, self-reliance and self-empowerment.

Our primary focus is the development of people and communities - not projects.
We achieve this primarily through organisational formation and strengthening.

Your Volunteering with us, will support our strong alliances to represent and service the project work in challenging social and economic injustices experienced by the rural community.

By working in partnership with the communities we are able to:

(a)Support the project work of marginalised communities; (b)Support local capacity building; (c)Be well informed about the agendas and challenges facing marginalised communities so that; (d)together we can address issues of economic injustice.
TeV partnership is designed to look at community development, facilitate learning and realising that capacity building and other processes provide possible solutions.
